Guiding Generations: Honoring Dr. Ted Hudspeth - PUSH for Scouting Signature Event Series

Join us at the PUSH for Scouting Dinner, honoring Dr. Ted Hudspeth, benefiting the South Louisiana Council as we honor outstanding business and community leaders for their impact across our region. As part of Scouting’s annual donor campaign, these events recognize individuals whose leadership and service strengthen our communities. Proceeds support Scouting programs that help young people develop character, leadership, self-confidence, and essential life skills, creating a lasting impact for generations to come.

The Toast of Kyle Edmiston - PUSH for Scouting Signature Event Series

The Toast of Kyle Edmiston keeps the tradition of identifying community members who embody Scouting values and celebrating them. This event features a grand bourbon tasting, with exclusive access to hard-to-find, high-end bourbon samples that, in many cases, are not even available for purchase. The evening will feature heavy hors d’oeuvres and plenty of non-alcoholic options, and a social atmosphere to enjoy with friends while supporting Scouting..

Sportsman’s Holiday Auction

We combine a lively auction featuring outdoor gear, exclusive experiences, vacations getaways and limited edition items. Leading up to the live auction, a silent auction allows you to bid on sporting goods, collectors items, gift baskets, artwork, wine, and more. Cefalu Dinner

The Joseph Cefalu Steak Dinner has been a cherished tradition for more than 60 years, raising funds to support local Scouting programs. A collaborative effort between the Cefalu family, the Rotary Clubs of Morgan City and Patterson, and the Boy Scouts, the event began as a simple backyard gathering hosted by Joseph Cefalu. As attendance and community support grew, the dinner evolved into a beloved annual fundraiser that continues to provide character-building, leadership, and outdoor experiences for local youth through Scouting.

Avondale Adventure Shoot @ Camp McGee

Gather your team and join the tradition at the Sporting Clays Classic! Shooters of all skill levels can look forward to a fun and challenging course, great fellowship, and a memorable day outdoors. As the event continues to grow and welcomes more than 40 teams, participants will enjoy a first-class experience featuring a beautiful sporting clays course, a chef-prepared lunch, and snacks throughout the day. Come test your shooting skills, enjoy Louisiana's great outdoors, and support Scouting through one of the area's premier sporting clay events.
